How Sweet The Sound, Evelyn Larter's collection of hymn arrangements for piano trio was named as runner up in the Sacred division of the annual competition to find the best new music on Sheet Music Press! There are seven titles in a variety of styles, including Jazz and Traditional.
It was recently reviewed by David Kim, Concertmaster of The Philadelphia Orchestra as follows: "I'm so happy that Evelyn Larter has created this wonderful and much-needed collection of hymn arrangements for piano trio. She has a knack for writing that is easy to put together, yet lacks nothing in terms of harmonic, melodic, and instrumental depth. I find her work deeply moving, spiritual, and satisfying."
Many new sacred and Christmas instrumentals have been added to Sheet Music Press at www.sheetmusicplus.com. Please visit Evelyn Larter Music on Facebook for regular updates.
